BANDAR LAMPUNG \u2014 For many Bright Scholarship awardees, the post-campus period is often a phase filled with uncertainty. At this juncture, YBM BRILiaN provided a closer and more grounded dialogue space through a sharing session titled \u201cBright Scholarship to State-Owned Enterprises\u201d<\/em> with the Regional HCBP Department Head of BRI. The event was held on Friday, 23 January 2026, at the BRI Regional 5 Building in Bandar Lampung.<\/p>\n The activity was attended by 35 awardees, particularly alumni and final-year students receiving the Bright Scholarship. More than just an exchange of experiences, the session was designed to strengthen the emotional bond between BRI\u2019s muzakki (donors) and mustahik (beneficiaries), while equipping awardees with a realistic picture and strategies for entering the workforce, especially within BRI and other State-Owned Enterprises.<\/p>\n The sharing session featured Rio Fathur Rachman, Head of Human Capital and Chair of the YBM BRILiaN Board of Management for the Bandar Lampung Regional Office, accompanied by Amir Mudaris, Supervisor of the Bandar Lampung Regional Office. Both shared perspectives on career readiness, talent needs within State-Owned Enterprises, and the importance of building competencies early on.<\/p>\n During the discussion, a key message was delivered: being a beneficiary is not the end of the journey. \u201cToday you are, or have been, beneficiaries; in the future, you are expected to become those who provide benefit,\u201d stated one of the speakers. BRI, he continued, opens opportunities and development programs for the best talents, including Bright Scholarship alumni, to grow and contribute within a professional environment.<\/p>\n Through this sharing and capacity-building session, awardees were encouraged to view their future more clearly. Not merely about securing a job, but also about mental readiness, character, and the values they carry when entering the professional world. The discussion was interactive, opening a Q&A space covering State-Owned Enterprise recruitment processes, workplace culture, and strategic steps that can be prepared while still in university.<\/p>\n This event reaffirmed the role of Bright Scholarship as a program that does not stop at educational support, but also accompanies awardees in their post-campus transition phase.
