Yayasan Baitul Maal BRILiaN

The Baitul Maal BRILiaN Foundation (YBM BRILiaN) is a National Zakat Collection Institution (LAZNAS) based on the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia No. 458 of 2024. As a philanthropic institution based on Faith Based Organization, YBM BRILiaN is trustworthy and professional in managing zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) committed to realizing an empowered society through adaptive, inspiring, and character-based institutional management. This is realized through various ZIS distribution and utilization programs to those who are entitled to them covering 5 (five) program pillars, namely education, economy, health, da’wah, and social humanity.

Zakat Awards

YBM BRILiaN, through its Mustahik Income Generating Program (MIGP), received a Silver Award at the 2024 Zakat Awards in the National Scale OPZ Leading Economic Program category, organized by the Zakat Forum.

The BRI Board of Directors, consisting of H. Rudjito, H. Ahmad Askandar, H. Akhmad Amien Mastur, Hendrawan Tranggana, Krisna Wijaya, Hj. Gayanti Rawit Angreni, BRI's Bapekis, and Pinwil, agreed to establish the Bank Rakyat Indonesia Baitul Maal Foundation, with Purwanto as its Chairman.

With the inauguration of the BRI Baitul Maal Foundation, a Decree was issued regarding the deduction of BRI employees' salaries for zakat in accordance with the nisab requirements.

The institutional structure was refined to expand the benefits of YBM BRI, and the institution was transformed into YBM BRILiaN.
