BANJARMASIN — The YBM BRILiaN Regional Office (RO) in Banjarmasin continued its response to the Kalimantan haze emergency by distributing health aid to students at SDN Kelayan Dalam 1 on Friday (August 28).

The school was selected as a distribution site because it has been affected by the haze emergency. The poor air quality is a major concern, particularly for the health of students, teachers, and the entire school community, to ensure that the teaching and learning process can continue.

To support these needs, the YBM BRILiaN RO Banjarmasin distributed 100 “Healthy Kid” packages and 20 Oxycan units, totaling Rp4,400,000 in aid.

Support to Maintain Learning Activities
Habiburrahman, Supervisor of YBM BRILiaN RO Banjarmasin, was present during the distribution alongside Wardah, Principal of SDN Kelayan Dalam 1, along with teachers and students.

The students enthusiastically welcomed the aid. This health support is expected to help the school community cope with the smoke emergency while ensuring the continuity of learning activities.

The school expressed its appreciation to YBM BRILiaN and the donors for the assistance provided. This gesture of care is considered meaningful for the school, which is in need of support amid unfavorable air quality conditions.

Emergency Response Reaches the Educational Community

The distribution of aid at SDN Kelayan Dalam 1 is part of YBM BRILiaN’s Banjarmasin Regional Office’s efforts to reach communities affected by smoke, including school-age children who require special attention regarding their health.

Through 100 “Healthy Kid” kits and 20 Oxycan units, YBM BRILiaN hopes that students and teachers can carry out their activities more effectively during this emergency. This assistance also serves as an effort to ensure that the limitations caused by the disaster do not dampen the children’s enthusiasm for learning.
