YBM BRILiaN Brings Free Healthcare Services Through Mass Circumcision Program in Rangkasbitun
RANGKASBITUNG — The YBM BRILiaN Banten Regional Office, in collaboration with the Creative Ecosystem Economic Institute (LEEKRAF), held the BRILiaN Mass Circumcision Event at the Juang 45 Building in Rangkasbitung, Lebak Regency, Banten, on Saturday (September 26).
Through its health program pillar, this initiative targets communities in need of access to safe medical services. A total of 50 children from low-income families participated in the free circumcision program.
Easing the Burden on Parents and Providing Free Healthcare
Rangkasbitung was chosen as the event location due to the community’s high need for health services. Many families require support to ensure their children receive safe medical care.
Through this program, the Foundation aims to alleviate the financial burden of circumcision costs that parents would otherwise have to bear. In addition, this initiative provides targeted and hygienic healthcare services. The total aid distributed amounted to Rp50,000,000.
Prior to the event, the team first verified and registered prospective participants. The organization also coordinated closely with local leaders and the medical team in Rangkasbitung.
Well-Organized Event and High Enthusiasm
The series of events began with an opening ceremony at 8:15 AM. The organizing committee and medical team provided comprehensive instructions to all participants and their accompanying parents.
The medical procedures took place from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. All participants underwent the procedures smoothly without any complications. A warm atmosphere radiated from the participants in attendance.
Each beneficiary received a complete package of assistance. The assistance included free circumcision services, post-circumcision medications, pocket money, a school bag, and prayer supplies.
Appreciation from the Beneficiaries’ Parents
This program received a warm welcome and deep appreciation from the participants’ parents. One of the parents expressed his gratitude for the care provided.
“Thank you for helping my son become healthier through this free circumcision assistance,” said Mr. Hengki, the parent of Al Falah, a circumcision participant. “This circumcision program organized by YBM BRILiaN has been a great help to us. May YBM BRILiaN continue to grow and bring even broader benefits.”
