To Provide Health Services, YBM BRILiaN Holds a Mass Circumcision Event in Cilegon

CILEGON — The YBM BRILiaN Banten Regional Office distributed zakat funds through the BRILiaN Mass Circumcision
Program. The total assistance amounted to Rp50,000,000 for 50 eligible children. The event took place in the courtyard of the Deringo Village Office, Citangkil Subdistrict, Cilegon City, Banten Province, on Thursday (August 27). This program, which is part of the health pillar, helps low-income families cover the costs of their children’s circumcision.

The event proceeded smoothly and orderly from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Western Indonesian Time. A number of local leaders and representatives from YBM BRILiaN were present to witness the event.

Receiving Appreciation from the Local Government

The event began with a welcoming speech by the Citangkil Subdistrict Secretary, Drs. Nanang Nafis. He expressed his appreciation for YBM BRILiaN’s compassion.

“We greatly appreciate this mass circumcision event in Deringo Village. This program is a huge help to low-income families. We hope this initiative will continue to bring widespread benefits,” he said.

The Head of Deringo Village, Ubay Uswaidi, also expressed similar support.

Medical Services and Gift Packages

After the medical procedure, the children were given medication and post-circumcision care instructions. YBM BRILiaN also distributed prayer items, school bags, financial assistance, and lunch.

Januri, one of the participants’ parents, expressed his gratitude for this event.

“Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful for the assistance provided through this mass circumcision event. This program has greatly eased our burden as parents. May YBM BRILiaN always be blessed,” he said.
