Strengthening the Foundation of Goodness: YBM BRILiaN RO Surabaya Holds Regular Training Sessions for the Family Strengthening Program

SURABAYA — The YBM BRILiaN Surabaya Regional Office once again held a regular mentoring session with members of the Family Strengthening Sentra Permata Keluarga on Saturday (September 5). This regular meeting began with a session reviewing short surahs. This activity served as a means for participants to maintain their memorization while deepening their connection with the Qur’an.

The event continued with a religious presentation by the Center’s facilitator, Sri Rahayu. This guidance session discussed Hadith No. 245 from the Riyadhus Shalihin regarding the virtue of alleviating the hardships of fellow Muslims. Through this presentation, the participants were encouraged to deepen their social awareness and cultivate the habit of contributing positively to their surrounding community.

Donations for the NTT Disaster

After the presentation, the participants immediately put the Hadith they had learned into practice by collecting donations for survivors of the natural disaster in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

“Alhamdulillah, this session allowed us to immediately put the material we’d learned into practice. May the knowledge we’ve gained bring blessings, and may the donations collected help ease the burden of our brothers and sisters in NTT,” said Sri Rahayu.

The participants’ swift response serves as clear evidence that YBM BRILiaN’s ongoing religious development program not only provides spiritual strengthening but also fosters strong empathy and social awareness within the community.
