YBM BRILiaN Provides Relief Supplies and Medical Services to Earthquake Survivors in East Manggarai and Nagekeo
East Manggarai, NTT — Yayasan Baitul Maal BRILiaN (YBM BRILiaN) continues to intensively distribute aid to communities affected by the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara. For two consecutive days, from August 19 to 20, 2026, YBM BRILiaN visited various locations in East Manggarai and Nagekeo Regencies to ensure that the basic needs of survivors were optimally met.
On Wednesday (August 19), YBM BRILiaN distributed Rp85,000,000 worth of relief supplies, reaching 1,379 affected people in the two regencies.
In Sambi Rampas Subdistrict, East Manggarai Regency, food aid consisting of rice, instant noodles, eggs, and clean water was distributed. The field team also provided hygiene kits (soap, toothbrushes, sanitary pads), shelter kits (tarps and mats), and special needs items for infants—such as formula and diapers—to approximately 516 people.
Meanwhile, in Mbay, Nagekeo Regency, the team distributed 410 servings of ready-to-eat meals, hygiene kits, bottled water, and basic food supplies, reaching 636 survivors.

Providing Health, Psychosocial, and Community Kitchen Services on Thursday (August 20), YBM BRILiaN continued its humanitarian efforts by expanding the range of support services in the field. The distribution of relief supplies in Mbay took place through independent command posts along the Waikokak–Towak–Peringating and Boanio routes. The aid—consisting of 200 ready-to-eat meal packages, 50 kg of rice, 48 trays of eggs, 18 tarps, 15 cases of bottled water, and children’s essentials—reached 516 people.
On the same day, integrated relief efforts were also carried out in other areas through collaboration with various partners. In collaboration with Reasuransi Indonesia, YBM BRILiaN operated a community kitchen for 70 people, distributed survival kits to 30 households, and provided psychosocial support to residents in Paci Panda Hamlet, Pota Subdistrict, Sambi Rampas.
Healthcare support was also provided in Waso Hamlet, Satar Kampas Village, North Lamba Leda. In partnership with BRI Peduli, four medical personnel were deployed to provide health screenings and immediate medical treatment to 49 disaster survivors.
