YBM BRILiaN Distributes Qur’an Copies to Mosque Congregations in Yogyakarta

YOGYAKARTA — The YBM BRILiaN Regional Office (RO) Yogyakarta distributed packages containing copies of the Qur’an to the Kalimosodo Mosque on the banks of the Kalicode River and the Al-Maun Mosque in Ambarukmo on Sunday (Oct. 11). This initiative aims to enhance worship facilities while strengthening the Qur’anic character of the local community.

The team personally handed over the Qur’an copies to the management boards of both mosques. The board members and congregants welcomed the team warmly and with great enthusiasm.

Supporting Religious Development and Outreach Along the Riverbanks
The selection of these two mosques was based on their roles as centers for congregational worship and religious study. Specifically for the Kalimosodo Mosque, the distribution focused on the densely populated residential area along the Kalicode riverbank. This area requires extra attention to ensure the community has access to adequate religious facilities.

This program aims to supplement worship facilities and replace worn-out Qur’ans with new ones. In addition to providing physical facilities, this initiative serves as a source of encouragement for the congregation. It is hoped that the community will become more active in reading, studying, and participating in religious study circles as well as daily Quran recitation sessions.

Appreciation from the Mosque Management and the Trust of the Zakat Donors
The aid handover ceremony took place in a solemn and warm, family-like atmosphere. The YBM BRILiaN team symbolically presented packages of Qur’an copies as a tangible manifestation of the targeted distribution of zakat from BRI employees.

The mosque management expressed deep appreciation and gratitude for the institution’s attention. This assistance is considered highly beneficial for the continuity of the community’s da’wah programs.
